Hi! I secured an AIR 30 in GATE 2020 (ME). I am a full course user of Exergic. I am very much satisfied with the quality of content. In my first attempt I had bought Exergic's Study material, Question Bank and Test Series and that time I secured AIR 346 in GATE 2019 (ME). As far as the quality of questions is concerned, the question bank is top notch. Practicing new type of questions has become a must now. Gone are the days when only previous years were sufficient. Here, question bank is one of the good sources apart from the standard books and other sources available in internet. Study material I feel is good for those who have some knowledge of the concepts and less time to prepare for GATE. Hello everyone, It was around end of may 2019 when me and my friends were searching for a good online learning platform for gate preparations. So we searched the internet and found out many online platforms like GATE academy, kreatyx, GATE forum etc… and then we came across Exergic. EXERGIC!! Caution, I dont usually comment on anything nor I am a good reviewer. I will just tell how I ended up purchasing this course and what I feel about EXERGIC course. I studied in one of the most reputed college in kerala CET (College of engineering Trivandrum). Completed Btech in ME, but didnt study a single thing in college except how to pass exams with just last night preperation before exams and this may be the case with u also. The main reason for me not studying in the college because I felt like I was not properly introduced to the subjects. “I am unable to understand the subject to the core so why wasting time on studies anyways I am able to pass the semester exams”. Hello guys! I am Arjun Sanghvi. I have secured AIR 11 in Gate 2020 ME. I did my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Surat in 2019. I gave GATE during my final year but was unable to get a decent rank. I was placed in an EPC firm during my final year and I started preparing for GATE again along with my 9-5 job. I already had short notes prepared during my earlier attempt. Also my theoretical knowledge was good as we had good professors in college. Since I did not get much time after office for preparation, I decided to focus mainly on practising different type of questions for GATE. I believe that the level of questions asked in GATE is not very difficult. One just needs to maintain a decent speed and make minimum mistakes in the easy questions. I came to know about EXERGIC from my seniors who told me if Im aiming for a really good rank, then go for exergic. Im a solve combo user (contains test series and question bank). First, lets talk about question bank. The questions are really conceptual and u should have good fundamentals to do each on of em', and thats the very aim of question bank, to build our fundamentals. Under each topic wise tests of the question bank, there are 15 to 20 questions, which cover the whole topic, which usually take 4 to 5 hours of classroom coaching. I can assure u, if u can do all those questions, then that topic is embedded in your heart, u dont need to go and look for anymore questions on them. What I suggest to the future aspirants is that, while u r doing the question bank questions, dont give much concern for the time u r taking to solve them, rather, take ur time, and try to do solve those questions, because as I said, they are made to build ur fundamentals, not speed. I personally have completed around 75% of the question bank, which cemented my funda. Trust me, the time u invest in solving question bank will be worth it. Next up, test series. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, there is no better GATE centric test series out there. Hi, I am a graduate of mechanical engineering in the year 2020 and I had given gate in the final year without preparation and then in 2021 with self-preparation using all free resources and study materials out there but I qualified in neither of those years coz even after preparation. I found out that I was prepared based on my experience of 2020 paper but I realized that I had never prepared for such change in trends of paper, I thought the conceptual clarity I had for Gate was sufficient and just solved all pyq’s of gate and ese was just enough but I have been wrong and after 2021 paper I realized what I was missing out few things that brought only the worst output: 1. Lack of proper concept. 2. Lack of problem-solving approach. 3. Confidence (coz I know many do this even I had left so many questions just coz of losing confidence at halfway or just messing up the solution due to fear that I am solving a completely new problem so I might go wrong). Its been a 1.3 yrs I was enrolled in EXERGIC. As I have not joined any other coaching, so not a comparative review just want to share my honest opinion. (i) all the subjects are teached keeping in mind that u know nothing. (ii) some of the videos have very good clips/animation making it easier to get the feel (as sir said more often) (iii) behind every formulas its basic concept are well explained as IEOR, MP, Mat.sc. are subjects where generally good excuse can be mug up which just creates doubt and illogical conclusions. (iv) u will be joined to a premium group where most of the doubts are already resolved and new one also generally solved max with in 24 hrs (v) all videos are edited in such a way that u will not loose any of your time (ex:- in writting or clearing board, drawing part are trimmed) (vi) recently very good solved examples are added which have 360 analysis that opens ur mind for broader picture regarding concepts. (vii) before every topic its importance in gate also its application were discussed which brings the interest. (viii) question bank, test series contains very good question(all r distinct) where it was very well kept in mind to challenge u conceptually, numerically.
