Hello guys! I am Arjun Sanghvi. I have secured AIR 11 in Gate 2020 ME. I did my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Surat in 2019. I gave GATE during my final year but was unable to get a decent rank. I was placed in an EPC firm during my final year and I started preparing for GATE again along with my 9-5 job. I already had short notes prepared during my earlier attempt. Also my theoretical knowledge was good as we had good professors in college. Since I did not get much time after office for preparation, I decided to focus mainly on practising different type of questions for GATE. I believe that the level of questions asked in GATE is not very difficult. One just needs to maintain a decent speed and make minimum mistakes in the easy questions. First of all, let me introduce my self. I am mechanical engineer graduated in year 2019. I have secured AIR-35 in GATE 2020. GATE ME 2020, AIR 64 Hello everyone, My name is Sourabh Chandra. I graduated in the year 2019 from NIT Raipur (B.Tech. Mechanical Engg.). I was not serious about college placements (tried only for two organisations, rejected by both 😅). GATE 2019 was my 1st attempt and I got AIR 3439 which was not enough for getting into PSUs or some reputed college for M.tech. So, I decided to prepare again with full heart and more hard work. Hi guys, myself Sumais Jalaludheen, GATE ME AIR 217. Right off the bat, I wanna say that nothing beats EXERGIC, hands down it is the best. I came to know about EXERGIC from my seniors who told me if Im aiming for a really good rank, then go for exergic. Im a solve combo user (contains test series and question bank). First, lets talk about question bank. The questions are really conceptual and u should have good fundamentals to do each on of em', and thats the very aim of question bank, to build our fundamentals. Under each topic wise tests of the question bank, there are 15 to 20 questions, which cover the whole topic, which usually take 4 to 5 hours of classroom coaching. I can assure u, if u can do all those questions, then that topic is embedded in your heart, u dont need to go and look for anymore questions on them. What I suggest to the future aspirants is that, while u r doing the question bank questions, dont give much concern for the time u r taking to solve them, rather, take ur time, and try to do solve those questions, because as I said, they are made to build ur fundamentals, not speed. I personally have completed around 75% of the question bank, which cemented my funda. Trust me, the time u invest in solving question bank will be worth it. Next up, test series. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, there is no better GATE centric test series out there. All the questions in the test series are GATE centric, and the explanation they have given for each are really great. On the plus note, Chandresh sir also posts important videos, technical and motivational, which also helped me a lot to push my boundaries. A small suggestion : it would be really good if the online test's user interface (i.e. the question layout, the postioning of timer, calculator icon etc) would be exactly like that of the actual gate. Hello everyone, here I am share my experience with you that when i was prepare for gate in 2020 I joined offline class on that time, due to limitation of time my syllabus are not covered its hurry for me and not get qualified. Due to this I continue my preparation for 2021 but due to corona offline classes are cancel its totally waste of my money and time I get frustrated. some wrong moment is happened with my family in 2020 and I got distract with my target, after that I realise my first priority was GATE. My Hello to All, This is Munish Kumar and I have secured AIR - 3 in GATE Mechanical Engineering (2021). I got this rank with my job in the automobile sector. I was a Full course student of Exergic. This makes me eligible to answer this question, I guess! I was Enrolled in the Full Video course, Question Bank, and Test Series of Exergic. I am sharing what I experienced so that others get benefitted while they plan for GATE preparation. 1) To-the-point content as per GATE Requirement. During my preparation, I observed that almost every sincere aspirant of GATE is having a very common doubt: "Where to study from? What to study? AND MOST IMPORTANT - What not to study?" These problems came to an end when I started preparing with Exergic. Their content was tailor-made for GATE in such a way that I fell in love with my decision within a week. Another common mistake aspirants make while their preparation is they read almost everything that is there in standard textbooks with the same level of importance and priority, thus wasting a lot of time and falling short on time when it comes to solving quality questions and attempting test series. NOT ALL THINGS IN STANDARD BOOKS ARE IMPORTANT FOR GATE. There are many such things which are not required for GATE and may distract you from the right direction as you have limited time in your hand to prepare. He will tell you the connection between the two. There are many more cases like that as almost all subjects are interconnected in a way. Another good thing I liked about Chandresh Sir is the way he explain many important concepts via numericals which gives a 360 degree analysis of concept. 3) Doubt Solving Premium Groups. Exergic is having a very Unique Platform (Premium Groups) for solving the doubts of their students. It won't be wrong if I say it is the heart of the course. I used to simply post a screenshot of my doubt from any source at any time. It gets solved within 24 hours by Chandresh Mahajan Sir himself.
